IBM Retirees’ Club - Hursley Branch - February 2012

February 2012 Events:

February 21st 2012 (Tuesday) - Visit to Waterperry Gardens and Oxford (with included hot lunch)

Depart 9:30am.

Return Hursley - Approx. 6:30pm (subject to weather conditions).

“Limited numbers” trip - First come, first served!.

Waterperry Gardens tour in snowdrop time with included hot meal (baked potato with assorted fillings & salad), followed by freetime in nearby Oxford.

Please note that this is a winter trip and the planned itererary may well be changed depending on the weather conditions encountered on the day!

Planned timings (assuming two coaches):

  • Travel to Waterperry Gardens - arriving approx. 11:15 to 11:30.
  • Coach 1: Lunch 12:00, Garden tour 1:00pm.
  • Coach 2: Garden tour 12:00, Lunch 1:00pm.
  • Remaining time to explore gardens, shop, museum and church.
  • Depart to Oxford 2:15-2:30pm, arrive 2:45-3:00pm.
  • Freetime in Oxford.
  • Leave Oxford: 5:00-5:15pm.
In the worst case the trip will be cancelled and we will use the contact details you have supplied to advise you of this and your cheque will be destroyed.

If you are a member of an IBM Club or IBM Retiree Club you may request an application form for this visit by sending an e-mail to: forms@hurrec.org.uk.  Please include your name, IBM Employee Number and the name of the IBM Club that you are registered with.  An e-mail will be returned to you with a PDF version of the application form attached.  You will need to print and complete this as required, and then post with cheque and SAE to Harry Helyar.
